Did you miss any of my blog posts this month? Don't worry; I'm always here to keep you caught up!
July was such a busy month. Weekends were packed, and movie nights were plentiful. I reviewed Independence Day (1996), The Dark Knight Trilogy, Hulu's The Princess, and House of Gucci. Some movies were excellent, and others were not my cup of tea. One of my favorite movies I reviewed was Chef. I loved it so much that my boyfriend and I decided to make the film's signature dish – Cubanos.
This month's busyness also forced me to grapple with my anxiety surrounding my creativity and ability to produce excellent work consistently. I wrote a poem to work through my emotions. I also had the opportunity to interview an old artist friend, Carl Wiggins. He shared his struggles breaking into the tech world as an artist. Continuing to focus on Jersey artists, I wrote a surprise post about a music competition I attended.
